The footswitch and LED are shown on all the RD schematics but without any part number for the LED because LEDs are generic for the most part. LEDs operate on Current and not Voltage per se. You don't have to go looking for a particular voltage as all "raw" LEDs are the same. Just make sure NOT to use an LED with a built-in resistor (like the ones that Radio Shack sells as "12-Volt" LEDs which already have a 1K resistor built into them so they will run on a 12Vdc car system with no external components or special ones that have built-in blinkers and such). Just replacing the LED in the footswitch with another LED (make sure they are in then same polarity or the new one won't light up) should work fine. You can still buy the Red lenses that Music Man used but you can also get them in Clear so you could install Green, Orange, Amber, Yellow, Blue, Purple of UV (Ultra-Violet) LEDs instead of Red! Also, you can get high-intensity LEDS that will burn your retinas if you look right at them! You can get these from places that sell Computer modding supplies (like frozencpu.com or superbrightleds.com). Steve
