First off, thanks for all the great info about biasing. I just finished biasing my HD150 head. Now, my question: I'm upgrading my bass to active electronics. Are active electronics OK to use with this amp?
Thanks

OK, but you will probably want to use the -10dB jack.

thanks
I thought it'd be ok because the pre-amp portion of the amp is solid state but wanted another opinion.

i've got a buddy with an MM stingray I guitar. it has active electronics stock and the loadest guitar i've ever heard. a bit much sometimes, if i do say so myself. anyways, i'm sure MM wouldn't put something in their guitars that would damage their amps. you may want to attenuate just by the shear fact that the combo could be obnoxiuos.
just my thoughts on the matter.
