Does anyone know the correct Accutronics tank codes for this model? I have a strong suspicion the one in the amp I am working on is wrong, it's input impedance appears to be a bit high for this amp. | ||

Ken Tell me more! Is it a RD65 or HD65 ! HD65 takes a 4FB3A1B RD65 WITH EL34 8FB2A1B RD65 WITH 6L6 SOMETIMES USES A 8BB2A1B OR MAY TAKE A 8FB2A1B . | ||

HD 65 with EL34 tubes. I'll have the amp back again soon and check this number against the tank. I remember is was a "4" series tank in there. Reverb was a short sustain and not all that powerful. Tank checked out electronically OK(tested coils with a Z-meter). Had to recrimp both connectors for the springs, no signal was getting thru the springs until I cleaned the mechanical splices inthe middle of the springs and recrimped them! | ||

Hi Ken. I have in my shop a 65 reverb head (2275-65). It looks all original and the tank is a 4FB3A1B as Terry states above. I will check my other amps (210-65's)later and post again. Dick Billups. | ||

2 210-65 amps both with mystery reverb tanks, one black in color with no markings, one with gibbs tank that had the inside swapped out for the (correct?) guts. TTFN, Dick. | ||

I have a Music Man Amp model # 112-65-RP Chassis # 2165 RP and the reverb is weak. The Accutronics # on the tank is 8DB2C1B, On their site this model is listed for a marsall amp. Could this be my proublem? | ||

If the grounding configuration and impedances of the reverb tank do not come close to matching the design of the amp, level and tone can suffer. Unfortunately, Music Man wasn't very good about listing the proper tank number in their schematics so you have to get an idea from people who have the same model as you. | ||

Hey, just a quick question. does anyone know the correct acutronics number for a 210HD-130 reverb tank replacement? I would think its similar or identical to the 210-65. Thanks | ||

Hi, I guess I am a little confused about reverb tank numbers. The springs fell out of my old one and it got misplaced by the repairman. Consequently, the reverb tank in my 112-65-RP is gone and I need a number to replace it with. It was one of the small 3 spring units. I really appreciate the forum. Thanks for any help. Luther | ||

One more thing, the 112-65-RP I have uses two 6L6's and no driver tube. Serial DN04878 Chassis number 2165RP. Thanks again, Luther. | ||

According to some of the other posts in this section, the Accutronix 8BB2A1B is the most likely candidate for all the RD/RP 65/100 amps. Steve |
