On the subject of Mark Knopfler, from May 1979 on he played two Music Man 212 HD 130's on stage at his performances. There is a very good write up on his website blog about the history of Music Man Guitar Amps. It is well worth reading for all of you Music Man owners out there, and for those who like to researh the evolution of tube type amplifiers.
