Goodday everybody. I have a question for this messagebord. A few years ago I purchased a Music Man amplifier with the chassis number 2275-130-EX. This thing really is a big and heavy Amp. It has 12ax7 and 6L6 tubes and four original speakers. It also has a footpanel with reverb and tremelo. Can anyone tell me what year it would approximately have been built? My guess is somewhere in the late seventies, but I am not sure. I would like to sell this amp., do any of you know what price I should ask? Thanks in advance. Marty |

The date would be on the speakers dude- in white writing along the rim on the inside. you should be able to see it withour taking the speakers out. It will have the week, then the year, but not the month. For example 67(eminance) 1577 (15th week, of 1977). Cheers- rough guide only. -AUSsie carlos |

I heard they stopped using the 12AX7 in 1977. |
