Hi there,

I bought a 112 sixty five today with the 12AX7-tube. It's showroom condition and I really like the amp. So clean sounding, not like my old 60's Gibson that have been my only amp for some years, where it's imposible to get a decent clean sound!

However, there was no cover included and I'd really want to acquire one, so my question is: does the 112 cabinets has the same size as the 210 cabinets? The 210-covers seem to be easier to acquire. Otherwise, someone here maybe has a spare cover that I could buy? =)

Thnx in advance!
Daniel, Sweden

go to www.tukicovers.com they have covers for most if not all amp's and the prices are very reasonable.

A 210 cover would probably fit side-to-side, but it would be 4-6" too short! That's just a guess but not far off.

hey guys did the cabinets come with covers?

and can you still buy the same vinyl as used on the amps/covers

BTW the electro harmonix big bottle el34/6ca7 are nice although its wasnt long until they rattled - darn musicman - thats there only flaw i guess!

the rebuild on the eminences were so worth the while - shit over any of these new production speakers.

is its possible to run a third cab ie my 2 10 combo, my 2 12 cab and a 15 or 18 cab ?

I think all covers were optional. I didn't get one with the 212RD-65 I bought new in 1979.

Both Tuki and Kangaroo will make covers out of your choice of material to fit almost anything.

Thanks for the report on the 6CA7EH bottles. I am gratified to hear that your speaker reconing worked out so well!

The amp won't care as long as the total impedance of all three cabinets hooked together doen't go lower than 4 ohms or higher than 16 ohms. A total load of 8-ohms with the amp in the 8-ohm position would be the ideal goal to shoot for.
