Does the hi/low switch on my HD210 130 4-6CA7 decrease power by half? I would think it would be more like a 25% Decrease just by the sound of it...I think i use the LOW position 99% of the time anyway....thanks | ||

It's actually half power. The VOLUME of 65 watts is only a few dB less than 130 watts. That's why a 65 watt amp can hang in so long with the bigger amps. It's the volume before it distorts that is higher. Rough explanation but serves the purpose. Mike. |
