I'm trying to find out what my amp is worth, and I can't seem to find any listings for a Music Man 112HD 150 EVM (chassis #2275-150). Any ideas? Thanks. |

Take it to a music shop. See what they offer you. Take out (or post) an ad at 2x the the music store offer. See if anybody 'bites'. Adjust your pricing accordingly. |

Do what I generally do... find similar models on eBay and see what they go for there. Music shops generally buy low and sell high so eBay is probably a better barometer (store price -35% roughly).

Steve I have a HD 130 C# 2475-130 S# C002439 it has a 12AX7 tube in it. Is this the pre amp tube ? I also have a RD 112 100 with a EVM series 2 speaker in it C# 2100 RD & S# DPO - 3536. Can you tell me what year they were made and what that tube is for. I paid 150.00 for the 130 a D.J. was using it at a wedding and it had one blown speaker and he did not know it. Said he had been using it for years to talk through. Not worked hard at all! Found the 100 at pon shop for 250.00. Great amps and thanks for the site. Tim Owen |

The 12AX7 tube in the HD130 is a phase splitter (output tube section, not a preamp tube). This amp was probably made between 1974 and 1977-78. The RD112-100 was probably made between 1979 and 1984. You would have to date components or take the chassis out of the cabinet to look for date stamps or labels to get it any closer.
