The back of the Rhino Records reissue of X's Los Angeles album (incidentally my favorite band of all time), has a great live photo of X onstage. And in the background behind John Doe's bass setup, there is equipment set up there for another band that I assume was playing that night. One of the amps you can see pretty well is a Music Man 410 combo, with what looks like a Fender Bassman cab connected to it. That must be a VERY sweet sounding setup. I've looked around trying to find the date of the photo, and who else might have been playing that show who may have been the owner, but no luck so far. |

I know my friend out in san diego has his hd 130 serviced by Billy Zoom who used to play in X. Supposedly he's a MM guy. |
