I just got a 212-130. It has Fender Blue-Label speakers in it. Sound Good, but just wondering if these were stock or add-ins. If so, Will it sound better w/other speakers ? What do you advise ? |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't see how these could be original speakers in a MM amp. If you read the history of MM amps on the main page Leo Fender wouldn't have been allowed to put those in a MM amp. I was told the JBL in my 112 RP 65 was not stock coz Fender used them as well and that would have been infringement on MM's part. |

I have 4 Fender Blue Label "Special Design" 10" drivers in my 410-65. I put them in there as a low-cost replacement for the blown wimpy originals. From what I have discovered, all the Fender Blue Label "Special Design" speakers are OEM units from Eminence. I like these speakers as well as the Eminence-branded units they resemble, they just happen to say Fender on them. Steve |
