I have a 65-112 which is in pristeen condition, but I've never played through Input 2 on the main channel until the other day, and I got a clean tone at first and then it began to crackle and fuzz out really bad! Only happens on that input jack, nothing wrong at all when going through input 1. Where do I start looking for the problem? Is there something input 2 is running on the underside of the circuit board that could be the problem? Resistor? What? |

Honestly, it sounds like just a corroded jack. I would try some DeOxit on the plug and insert and twist around and then try it. If that doesn't work, you COULD have some sort of bad solder joint either at the jack or anywhere at the board where it connects(but I doubt it). If that doesn't work, get back in here and we will try to help. The second jack(I think) has a switch on it that can corrode and do this. Mike |

Foegot to mention that if it is the switch on the second jack, sometimes you have to take it out to clean the switch or replace it. |

Thanks, Michael. I'll get back into it first chance I get...have to use it for two gigs this week first. I'll let you know what I find. |
