Measure your amp then check out the sizes of all the Peavey or Fender covers and see if you can find a close match. This is the least expensive method. Alternatively, go to Tuki Covers or Kangaroo Covers and get a custom cover built. Steve

Hey Steve: this is of the first coupla times i've visited the site here. as soon as i get the information we'll see what we have to do to get my son's guitar player's amp back up and runnin'. in the meantime i'd like to let folks know about a supplier i've had pretty good luck with in the past. MCM Electronics at 1-800-543-4330 has a good-sized selection of just about anything you might be looking for, from pro gear to discontinued parts to tools to home appliance parts. i'd hope that if you could muster the time, you might browse the replacement guitar speaker section and let us know what you think of the selections and prices. traditionally, MCM can be quite high for computer componentry but if you can't find that drive belt for that old garrard or Lafayette turntable from 1970, this is a good place to look. they'll usually send out one catalogue for free to new customers and they probably still have the $20 minimum order requirement but if you folks have never heard of this place you really oughtta give them a look. |

Trying to find a good substitute cover for an HD150 head. It's dimensions seem to be a little off for the usual Fender or Peavey similar type heads. Does anyone know of commercial made head cover for the HD150 ? There are some custom ones on Ebay that go for $30 + shipping, but I don't mind using another brand name cover if it's less expensive. |

Imho, $30.00 + shipping is very reasonable. I much doubt you will find anything cheaper. D2F Covers, my preferred source, is more expensive but the covers are padded. I would be curious about how the quality of the Custom Amp Covers Inc. product is. If anybody has tried them, please post it here. Cheers, Lars Verholt |

The closest " other " cover I have found is a Peavey PA head cover, that is about a half inch to small in height. |
