The brand of tube you buy is a personal choice. I like Svetlana's. Mike likes JJ's. Bottom line, buy a set, try them for a while, see how they last and sound and go from there. As Mike always recommends, as do I, take this puppy to a tube amp guru and let him/her install the new set, test your output tranny, check your capacitors and check your biasing, assuming this amp needs biasing. If it doesn't have the 12AX7 PI tube, it won't need biasing. But DON'T (!!!!) try to work on this yourself as there are enough plate volts going through these little guys to crisp your toenails...and end your gigging forever. If those ARE the original tubes, then I'd figure to replace all the caps and that'll run you around $130 US. That old, they're dried out and if they haven't gone out totally by now, they're well on their way. I had to do that with both of my MM's.
