From the ToneQuest Report interview: What have you been using in the 544 Club on Bourbon (Street - New Orleans)? The stage is really kind of a 1x12 or a 2x10 thing - wide with a short throw to the street. Anything other than a small amp and you have feedback problems and its just too loud for the room. Lately, I have been using a HD130 Music Man head, I crank it at half power, which is 65 watts, and run it through a Mesa Boogie 1x12 open back cabinet...

On the cover of Bryan Lee's "Braille Blues" CD is a silver badge 210-65. |

I watched Bryan Lee many times at Absinthe House Bar in NO in 1983. He was using a MM head and he sounded great. John A.Miller League City, TX |
