Hi, I was just wondering if there was much of a difference between the 210-65 and 212-65. Does the speaker size make a big difference? Is one more popular than the other? Is there a reason to favor one and not the other? I can't decide which one I'd rather have, so any feedback would be appreciated. |

Honestly, I have a 2-10 65 and WISH it was 2-12. I just don't like 10's-personal. that said, it sounds good when you add a 15 for some low end as an extension cab. The 2-12 is also a lot harder to carry around. I'm ready to split my stuff up and get a head and a small cabinet so that I can lift the damned stuff. I WOULD rather have 12's though. |

Never played through a 2/10 65, but I've been using a 2/12 65 (with the 12AX7 tube) for many years. I picked up a Carvin 2/12 4ohm speaker cabinet to use with her when I wanted to push a little more air. Anyway... great sound, and buying amp/speaker covers for your gear I think is a good idea. Hope this helps, Good Luck. Dave. |

I've got a 210 130 (with the 12AX7). I put reconed JBL K 110s in it, and it has plenty of bottom. WJ |
