hi guys - so glad i found this forum, i am new to the world of musicman amps - having just bought a 1x12 112 RD-100 combo... This forum has been a invaluable resource for learning about my amplifier. so thank you. my question : The tolex(is that right word? - im talking about the material in front of the speakers) on my amp is quite worn. i was wondering how difficult it would be to replace the material with a close fender equivalent - any tips would be very helpful thanks, nick |

Tolex is the covering on the BOX portion of the amp-tha black stuff. The silvery stuff on the front is called the grill cloth. A lot of people put fender stuff on there as the MM stuff is all gone unless somebody finds a cache of it somewhere. You might look at mojotone or ampwares for a selection. THere are others too but those just come to mind. Mike. |
