Some of you may have seen the empty 1x12 MM cabinet that went recently on eBay. There was also a 2x10 cabinet (non-RH) for sale in another auction. I was lucky to obtain the latter of the two and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive to the post office. Looking at the 1980 catalogue, the only non RH cabinets that year at least were the 210S and 12M/12M-EVM. Both the 1-12 and 2-10 are listed as having a Motorola horn in addition to the ordinary speakers. However, neither the 1-12 cab nor the 2-10 cab on eBay showed any sign of a horn. Can anybody shed some light on when these horn-less cabs were introduced and what their proper model designations and power ratings are? Is it wrong to think that owning 5 pieces of Music Man gear is better than owning 4? (I tried putting pictures in here, but I am apparently inept since it didn't work) Cheers, Lars Verholt |

You know you can classify them as accessories. ....Kinda like how my wife classifies her 18+ pairs of shoes. hehehehe |

Just wanted to post that I have found the answer to my own question, and the answer was found right here on this website! The 1982 price list is a gold mine of model info. It turns out that the cab I just got is a model 210X. After playing a 210RH cab since 1996, it feels kinda kinky to use this 210X. Maybe I will try using them simultaneously at some point. -Lars Verholt www.captain-foldback.com |
