When using the normal channel of my 130/210 the unit frequently gets really soft, (almost off). Has anyone also had this problem? | ||

A lot of things COULD cause this. Everything from a dirty input jack to a bad tube. If you haven't noticed any tubes red plating or popping, I'd probably look at the input jack first. You really need to start at the beginning with those amps since they don't have an effects jack to hack into to see if it's the front end or final but if it's been working ok until now, I'd start with the input jack. Does it do it with the other channel? If not then that does limit it to the preamp section on that side. I mean, it could be a bad solder joint or something but those amps were put together pretty good but anything CAN happen. Give us a little more info and maybe we can help a little more. Mike. |
