Have been looking at these online: http://tinyurl.com/62vnytu Kind of like the Yellowjackets less than half the price. I'm really tempted to try a pair but there is this warning: "DO NOT USE the TONE BONE? for amps with cathode controled power amps (e.g. Musicman® RD series, Peavey® Classic 75/100 etc.)" Will I be OK using them with my 210 sixty-five? I assume I'll still have to use it on low power setting only. |

Hi Jeff, if your Sixty-Five has the 12AX7/ECC83 driver tube, it is not a cathode driven amp. If, on the other hand, it does not have the driver tube, you have the later cathode driven amp. Please note: I am not telling you whether it is safe to use the Tone Bone or not, just how to determine which type your Music Man amp may be. Personally, I would think that a tube driver sixty-five amp distorts just fine on the low setting by itself. Cheers, Lars Verholt |

Also these things cut your wattage way down,so your sixty five watt amp, becomes the biggest 10 watt practice amp ever . |
