First, thanks to all the posters for giving direction and guidance on reverb tank replacement. I have a 112 RD-100 combo which needed reverb tank replacement due to the incorrect tank being installed (prior to my purchase of the amp). I ordered these from Antique Electronic Supply: Reverb Tank: 1. 8BB2A1B #P-R8BB2A1B 2. 9" bAG #p-RBAG-9 The reverb tank sounds PERFECT and the bag fits the tank perfectly, too. However, the bag has two loop-like "wings" affixed to it, which I assume are for use to affix the bag to the amp. Does anyone know how to best use these? True, I could just make a hole in each "wing" and then drill a hole in the bottom of my amp, but I'd rather not drill new holes in my amp. I think the existing holes are not in alignment with the "wings" from the bag. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks. LL |

I HAVE glued what we call trailer tape to the bottom and then stuff the tank bag to it but really, it's just easier to drill new holes. Mike. |
