Hello I have a beautiful 210/65 with original MM 10inch speakers, but I have poor brightness. It's nothing compared with my 212/130 with a pair of Celestion G65. That one is far more bright and crunchy. Both amplifiers I recently gave new caps, new tubes, and were biased. Could it be the speakers. What type of speakers are preferable in the 210 ? |

Have you considered getting the original Eminence speakers reconed? The AlNiCo speakers originally in the 210 should be plenty bright. Another suggestion is another Eminence model: The Copperhead. It has a sound very close to the later MM ceramic 10" speakers and is not all that expensive. Cheers, Lars Verholt |

Got to agree with Lars. Those SHOULD be bright. I took the ones OUT of my MM 2-10 because they were TOO bright. Put in some weber cali 10's. Kind of like JBL'S. Mike. |

I see it was mentioned in an earlier post, (north of this one about 210-65 speakers),that the jacks can get bad. |
