Hello! I was looking at other threads in a effort to find out what speaker folks on here are saying most closely resembled the sound of the original speakers in a 212RH. It looks like the Eminence Delta 12A @ 8ohms seems to be a favorite. Before I buy I was wondering if something could confirm that the following link is the correct speaker. I am playing bass through an HD150 and would like to keep the same tone, i.e., not switching to a bass-only speaker. Any additional suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcome!

Thank you all,

The delta is actually designed to be used for bass and is a good speaker. I have a couple here somewhere. If you want to go elite, the Kappa Pro's are nice too and not THAT expensive, especially if you are using it primarily for bass. I have kappa pro 15 in one of my Hartke cabs and it will TAKE a beating. Mike.

Thank you Mike. I am really trying to stay as close to the sound of the original speakers in that cab as I can, while modernising the load handling. Suggestion?

Thank you again for you time sir! I was just talking you guys up last night. You've helped with all of my questions through the years and my band now has two MusicMan rigs to prove/show for it! :-)

I would think the delta 12's would be the ticket. GREAT power handling and not so stiff that you CAN'T play guitar through them. They will not, of course, break up with a guitar going through them. Mike
