I received this vi e-mail from LeRoy Prince: "Hope you don't mind that I posed my beautifull Sabre I in front of my 65 Reverb.I thought it would add a nice touch. This is a fantastic rig, really good for blues and country.I would'nt trade it for anything. The bridge on the guitar is not original, the old one was in terrible shape and could not be restored. The amp is all original right down to the tubes.Hope you find this worth posting." Actually I do mind...now I'm all jealous. Well good for you for having some cool Music Man gear. Lately I've been liking my Stingray II. It took a long time for me to figure out the tones I could get from it. Pickup height(with tilt)and the controls are very sensitive. How heavy is your Sabre I? My Stingray is very bottom heavy and I was thinking of sanding the black finish off it, I like the natural wood with black pickguard, like your Sabre. |
