HI, I have A 212 sixty-five combo for sale. It is apparently one of the more "sought after" early models. It is all origional, and works well. The overall cosmetic condition for its age is decent(6-7 out of 10). It has origional sqaure back musicman speakers . It has A few issues to note. The Musicman LOGO is missing but the 212 sixty five logo is intact, the grill cloth is fading A bit .There are A few small tolex tears(no big ones) As for mechanical , The reverb does not come on. The guy I got it from said it always worked fine and that he hadn't used it for A year and was genuinely suprised it wasnt coming on when I tested it in front of him? also when you first turn the amp on , until it warms up it sounds A little blown out/scratchy.Once it warms up its fine.. I think it could use A bias-ing and some new tubes. As these are Sylvania's and appear to be origional. The amp has the footswitch and tremelo works amazing. Overall the amp is loud and sounds very cool. But it does need A little work and is A little rough around the edges, no more than any amp its age.I plan to post on ebay soon. The amp is HEAVY and it is located in San Diego Ca. |
