The following come to mind (but I haven't tried these myself in a Music Man circuit): National LF442 JRC JRC4558 (or any other 4558) Whether these will improve anything you can hear is unknown. They may be quieter and have lower DC offset than the LM1458. I am sure there are a ton of others out there... Steve
