I just picked a 210 75 combo (Chassis 2275-75) and the original reverb tank is missing. Does anyone know which tank was originally specified? I tried a 8BB2A1B which is the same tank as used in the RD100-112 and RD50-110, and it works pretty good, but not great. thanks in advance! |

The only one that I have listed is the one in my list for "Music Man" of the accutonics chart that I had from SOMEWHERE. It lists a 4FB3D1B. Don't know if it's right though. The tank that came out of my 130 head is a 4FB3A1B. It looks like MM used a much higher impedance input than a lot of the Fender style tanks, that may be the difference. Your input impedance of THAT tank is lower than what your amp wants to see. Mike. |

thanks Mike, the only thing that makes me nervous is that tank has insulated in/outputs. Will this matter if I know the 8bb2a1b works and has grounded in/outputs? in other words -will the insulated vs grounding matter? thanks again . . . |

Should make any difference, I don't think. |
