hello
I have a '75 210-hd 130.
It needs new speakers and tubes.What would you guys suggest??I would like to have an idea before
i bring to a tech to have it restored

For tubes, I suggest JJ's from eurotubes. Bob's cool and the prices are right. I have been running E34L's in my 2-10 for a few years now. The only problem with new tubes is that their longevity is a little in question. Mine gets pushed pretty damned hard and those tubes are REAL close to the speakers so they get the s##t vibrated out of them. I get about two years out of a set, but this amp has pretty much become my full time amp, so it's used hard every week. My speakers are Weber California 10's and they also sound great with that combimation. I would suggest that you have that amp re-capped if you are going to play it though. It's in that time frame where it could be a time bomb-or just sell it to me!

Forgot to tell you one thing-you really need to be careful how you bias these amps as they had a bad thing about eating tubes, even with the good tubes of the 70's. Bias around 15-21ma and you should be safe. With 700v on the plates, you can NOT bias like a EL34 with low plate voltage. Been there. Mike.
