Hey .. Something weird. I bought a 65 head, silver badge, reverb and tremelo. The weird thing is, that on the "chassis sticker" it says it should have 3 tubes (2 big ones and 1 smaller one)...but it's only got the 2 big ones. There isn't even a socket for the smaller tube. It sounds great, and it seems like it's working okay. Could this be a solid state silver badge? |

I'm pretty sure it's been modified now..it's got a "power amp in" socket at the back. I'll open it up and take some pics of the innards. |

Yes, you have a silver badge w/ the solid state driver. My 212hd-130 has the same setup and I am told that it was either a factory mod or a later model produced after the switch to the solid state driver. |
