Actually, that was just to get you to look. I just wanted to wish all the group a merry Christmas. And yes, I say Christmas! If I had just one wish, it would be for a little more activity on the board. It's been kind of slow here but I have gotten several apps so maybe the new blood will kick in! Anyway have a good one folks and stop in and shoot the breeze when you can. Mike.. |

Thanks Mike. Were you able to consider my suggestion of an open mic sort of topic? I can't contribute much tech wise but I do love being here. |

Actually, I have no control over the topics or format. That's Steve's. It's HIS site and I'm just a visitor! Actually, it would be a nice idea. I'll try to pass it on to him and see what he thinks. Mike. |

All the best wishes for the season to my fellow MM forum members. Thanks for starting this thread, Mike! I'll bore you all to tears about how tomorrow night's show goes with my new 'tower of doom' rig. Just as a side note - about 15 years ago I started subscribing to a mailing list (e-mail, yes we did have e-mail back then) about Hammond organs and Leslie speakers. A tech forum sorta like this MM one. At some point it became evident that a number of people on the list wanted to talk amongst themselves without necessarily sticking to the tech topics. This spawned a chatroom on the IRC network (yes yes, it sounds so outdated/oldschool now) but that place was a home away from home for me and others for many years. Facebook has basically taken over most of the communication between the members there (but the e-mail list is still there and tries to stay on topic most of the time). Anyway, if there is interest we could try setting up a virtual get-together in a chatroom during the Christmas week for the MM nerds here. It's free and non-fattening! I'll be happy to play host. Let me know if there is interest. Cheers, Lars Verholt |

Happy Holidays all. I hope that you get lots of time to sit down and enjoy, and perhaps spread your musical holiday cheer with friends, family, and other appreciative audiences. Thank you to all contributors for helping us resurrect, maintain, and/or enhance our favorite MM amps. And thank you for helping us avoid electrocution by constantly reminding us to be extra cautious while inside our uber-powerful amps. Cheers. MrR aka Brian W. |

OK. Here's a little suggestion. I have signed up 153(I think) new members in the last two years. Very few are poking noses in here OR have lost their log ins($hit happens). Anyway, if any signed up members have lost their info or haven't SEEN it, contact me and I'll get you the info or re-register you, whatever it takes. We haven't had much participation lately and I don't want it to get stale. Steve has done a wonderful thing here hosting this and I'd hate to see it take a dump. Lets get this up in the forefront here and have some fun. Mike Kaus. |
