Hi! I recently bought my first Music Man amp. It's 210 seventy-five, dated 10.10.1980 on the PCB board. It sounds great, great clean tones and loud enough for most of my gigs. Now, I noticed that when I turn the volume knob up to 10 (i guess it's some kind of gain, driving the solid state preamp or something like that) there is a great amount of hiss, and when I turn the master all the way up, that hiss is HUGE. I'm just wonderin' if that's normal (because of its solid state preamp), or is that due to some bad electronic component. My power tubes may have had it, but I don't think that could be the cause, or it could? Anyway, that volume knob above 8 (at high master volume levels) is almost unusable, there's just too much hiss ! So, if anyone had similar experience, or if that's just normal, any reply is welcome. Thanx
