THE NEW SITE LOOKS GOOD...ALOT MORE ORGANIZED. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO GET TO THE CATEGORY OF YOUR PROBLEM AND GET YOUR ANSWER MORE EASILY. E-MAIL ME, STEVE, YOUR ADDRESS AND I WILL SEND YOU 6 OR 7 MORE SERVICE BULLETINS THAT CAN BE PLACED ON YOUR SITE. I THINK IT WOULD BE NICE IF WE COULD GET SOME PICTURES OR THE HD AND RD CHASSIS FOR A REFERENCE FOR WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO EXPLAIN A PROBLEM. MAYBE SOMEONE WILL HAVE SOME GOOD PHOTOS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. I KNOW THIS IS NOT ALL EASY.}

I agree with Terry; I like this system a lot better than the current one. I also offer my heartfelt appreciation for the work you put into making this site into a great community for Music Man amp fans. If I can ever be of help, just let me know (not really sure what you would need help with; but I would do my best).

Take care,

Glenn

This is an incredible vintage MusicMan amp resource!!! Additionally, as sites go, it's the cleanest, most organized and user friendly setup I've seen on the WWW to-date. An honorable testament to the amps Forrest White, Tom Walker and Leo Fender produced, with eye toward the most rugged/durable, highest quality clean-tone guitar amps obtainable. Every passing year will add value to them through our mutual efforts-
THANK YOU, STEVE KENNEDY!

Steve,

Greetings and great website! I have entered my early mid life crisis phase (joking!) and have started playing my electric guitars again (4 Stratocasters including 1 Pre-CBS). Trouble is my old amp is a solid-state Peavey Bandit circa '81 (I'm the original owner). To think I sold a nice old Princeton Fender amp (early 70's) to buy it makes me sick.

Anyway, I've been researching amps with the intent to buy a great tube amp and retire the Peavey or give it for my kids.

With the insane prices for anything deemed "vintage" for Fender products, I stumbled upon Music Man as a great alternative to Fender. I'm not a professional but expect to play in the basement with my old beer swillin' buddies who also are going through their mid life crises.

In a long rambling way, I'm asking what amps should I look for? I was considering purchasing a Twin Reverb prior to finding Music Man. I'm looking at several HD 212s on eBay, one is a "project" amp. I have a friend who is both an EE and a gearhead mainly though with old stereo equipment, so he is very willing to help restore/fix an amp.

Finally, my taste range from "classic" - Stones, Hendrix, etc. to "near-classic alt" - Police, U2, REM, Smiths, to "newer alt" - Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pumpkins, etc.

Sorry for this way too long letter and thanks!

As a former participant who hasn't posted for several years (sold my HD 130), just wanted to say that you've done a GREAT job developing this place! Shucks, makes me want to get myself another MM!

Cheers, Tim

Great job steve..... i agree with terrys comments on the pics,i found some pics in part of the forum of the internals of a HD 130 which was very helpful to me(as a non techie sort of person)in finding where one of the orange wires off the power tranny went that had come loose.....

Good idea Bill,
I would like to give my respects, thanks, and gratitude to Steve, Mike, Ed, and all the other good folks who have posted here. Been playing through a Music Man for 30 years now, and when I found this site years ago it just blew me away with all the great info and wonderful people.
Ya know, I love those times when you're playing a tune with the band, turn around, look at your amp, and just admire the tone she's making for you. Thank you all so much.. Dave
