Hello all. I have this old Music Man head that I am having trouble finding any info on. Not even a model, name or anything. Here is some info. Serial number is AN01682. It says 65 watts. It has a NORMAL channel and a BASS channel. Both channels have Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass knobs. There is also a Master volume. There are 2 Bright/Normal switches and one Deep/Normal switch. It does say Patents Pending on the front very small. I’m not even sure how I obtained it, or even if it is a guitar or bass head. I have used it as both in the past. The distortion leaves A LOT to be desired. I would greatly apreciate any help. Thanks in advance, Garry

Hi Garry You have a Bass Head if it does not have Reverb. The Serial # tells you nothing. It can be used for guitar just no reverb. Does it have the 12AX7 tube ? |

I it is tube/solid state. I will have to check. It is at a friend's house where we practice and store our gear. Does it actually have a name or model or anything like that? |

Does it have a "Chassis number" on the back? This would identify the amp with no ambiguity. Once you know the chassis number, you can download the schematic here and it will tell you a lot about your amp. Steve
