In 1975, the PA's were never as good; they were haphazard, and we were playing hell-bent for leather. I was using four Music Man 130-watt amps with Electro Voice speakers at 120 dB. Funny, I could never figure out what it was people were coming to see. We went out there with our attitude and all this energy, and we were self consumed. We never cared about our sound or how our songs sounded.
