Not so interesting comment by Joe Perry: You guys have always created a firestorm of noise onstage. In 1975, the PA's were never as good; they were haphazard, and we were playing hell-bent for leather. I was using four Music Man 130-watt amps with Electro Voice speakers at 120 dB. Funny, I could never figure out what it was people were coming to see. We went out there with our attitude and all this energy, and we were self consumed. Just saw Aerosmith - "Behind the Music" on VHI. There was a seen in the studio with Steve Tyler and a Music Man combo amp in the background - don't know the model. |
