Had the opportunity to work security for a Johnny show in the area and got sick and couldn't do it. A buddy worked it and said he's pretty much blind as brick and has to be escorted on and off. Played that gawd awful headless thing he's playing that isn't a Steinberger. Played the 'bird on something like one tune at the end. Said the head been broken off "several" times so it probably doesn't stay in tune real good. Wish I had been able to do it. On the other hand, I AM working the LRB show in feb, at least at this point. Was supposed to work both night but hey, I have to play the second night. A guy has to make a living! Mike. |
