I bought it new from Andys Music in Mobile around 79/80.....it employs the PI inverter with 4 el34's.it came stock with sylvania tubes...the amp is truly superior,dependable and trustworthy. A friend of mine had bought one and told me about them being Fender made. I also bought 2 e120 jbl speakers and have run this set up along with a Rolandgp16 processor...quite a tonal set up here. This amp has brought me some 26 years of awesome enjoyment....I had some friends sporting Marshalls way back and I can always say the MM kept up and surpassed them...thanks to those 700 volt plates I guess...marshalls back then were lower than that...anyway great amp...and I have kept mine in what I call excellent condition.....armor all works quite nice on the vinyl. |
