Hi,
I tried to date my amp and for now I found out, it must have been built between 77-79.
Here's some infos:
It has only 4 tubes, the standby-switch at the back and the ultra-heavy original speakers.
Inside is a hand-written number on the cassis that I read as 137. The last digit could also be a sloppy "2" which would result in "132"
Serial# C006336
Transformer# EIA-606-718
Transformer# EIA-606-823
small Transformer# EIA606-740
Cassis NO 2475-130
Speaker ID is 67.7906
It's a lot of fun finding out/searching that stuff...!
I'd appreciate any help!
Walter
My guess is 78

Thanks,
wasn't able to add jpgs from the iPad somehow...retrying here
>what could the hand-written number "137" mean?
Walter
That number
The number may simply be a way to note which baffle in a production run goes with which box. Other parts of the same box can have numbers that are now hidden by tolex covering.
