Music Man RP112 Sixty Five - use it with combo organ?

Hello there fellow Music Man enthusiasts!

I've recently come into possession of a Music Man RP112 Sixty Five - I was hoping to get some expert advice on here regarding the possible usage of a VOX Continental combo organ through said amp..

My worry would be that it might blow the speaker, as that organ can get quite bassy.
(Also, I was hoping to put a NORD keyboard through it, could that damage the speaker also?)

Any thoughts on this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Organ with RP-112

Well, that really depends on how LOUD you are going to use it. At home or on the job? If on the job, it had better be pretty quiet. I HAVE played keys through a purpose built cabinet with 1-12 in it but it's a BASS speaker. I built the cabinet identical to a couple of my guitar cabinets so it would look right but ported it out the back and put in a 600 watt kappa pro eminence bass speaker. It's DESIGNED to take the bass. The "throw" of a guitar speaker isn't long enough to handle bass freqs from a keyboard. If you are wanting to use it, port out to a bass speaker and THEN you are fine. If you are just going to play quietly at home, you should be ok. When we play out, it's usually NOT going to stay at bedroom/apartment levels! Mike.

A12B

There's a Music Man (Eminence) A12B speaker on sale on eBay. Would be a worth a try for this porpoise as the marine biologist said.
