In the August 2006 issue of Vintage Guitar magazine there is an interview with Hal Lindes (formerly of Dire Straits) and he said this about his stage set-up during the time period of Dire Strait's "Love over Gold" and Tina Turner's "Private Dancer": "It was a Music Man 2x12 through a Marshall 4x12 slant cab, a candy-panel early-'60s Vox AC30 top-boost and later a Simul-Class Boogie." |
