THAT guy needs a site. JEEZ, he'd be swamped if it was the real thing. Probably just a name though.

My first thought was Torres but that's NorCal.
Try this link for starters:

Personally, I would call Bogner or Plexi-Palace (Mojave Amps), tell him what you want and ask for a rec.
These are boutique makers who take pride as craftsmen. Plexi-Palace is worth visiting just to see the wall of Tone! So many awesome Marshalls...

Marc-must be a time zone setting or something. I'm not QUITE even up at 4! I'm sure it was 6 in the morning which would be about right. I'm usually checking the mail and reading the paper at that time.

Thanks Tommy- Mike, not alot of info. in your contributions to this thread :-). It's remarkable that I'm right here in the same county MM amps were born and mfrd., same county
as Fender still produces amps...yet not one single direct recommendation for a competent, professional MM Tech! ?!

Marc; I can take care of the M.M. I'll look into the bias mod on the Bassman. They come with that now from the factory.

Wow, that's kind of interesting. I looked at your site for your amp repair and noticed that you used to work for acousric. THere is a new site dedicated to the old acoustic stuff tha I have been following(since I also have a pristine, kind of rare, 204 cabinet) that you might be interested in. I KNOW they would be interested in YOU! Check it out, if you can. SOME of us are old geezers that sold the old acoustic stuff back in the 70"s that still have fond memories of "back then".
