A early HD 130 4-10
I have a Line 6 HD500x that is stereo. I miss a lot of what the pedal is putting out by using it momo in front of my amp.
If I had a parallel effects loop and a preamp out, I could get the most sound out of my rig.
Any ideas how i should configure my amp with the stereo pedal getting the most full range of my sound?
You're never going to get the full effects out of ANY one amp when using stereo effects. It's still one amp. if you run it stereo with TWO amps, you can get true dispersion. Your best bet with one amp is stereo ponging from one channel to another with the one controls set wildly different so that there IS a difference. That's the only way I know of getting any "spread" with only one amp. Mike.
I know my HD130 is a two channel amp. That is (2) channels with 1-2 inputs on each channel.
The 1-2 inputs are just high and low inputs right?
So what I need to do is run the right output of the pedal into (1) of the first channel of my amp.
And the left output channel of the pedal into the (1) of the other channel of the amp.
Correct, but that won't give you STEREO. Just two versions of the same thing. Like I said, if you choose two TOTALLY different tone settings on each channel, at least It will give you SOME dispersion. Those two channels sum into the same amp so that's the only thing you can do. Mike.
effects loop
What kind of amp are we talking about? Mike.
