One of my friends has a HD 130 head that I'm hoping to acquire. I'm over here trying to down size since I'm retired but every since I walked into a pawn shop and saw a 210 65 sitting there...
I thought I was over the "gas" thing after going thru many Fenders, Marshalls and other "as good as" or "better than" amps. I give myself a degree in amp buying/selling. 8P But now the "bug" is back. I do not need a 130 watt amp but it would look/sound so good sitting on top of my 2x12. My recently acquired RD 110 is the perfect grab-n-go amp so why on earth am I wanting a 130 watt head?! I'm sure some you guys can talk me down off this ledge.

Well..
Around the campfire the old timers would tell stories of the siren call of the Music Man. And that one should only look at them using the reflection of a mirror. Never gaze directly into the grill cloth and fall into it's spell. Joel, I'm sorry brother but I think you're a goner.
I really don't have any room to talk here, I've always been a big fan of the 130head. So I guess I'm not the guy that'll get you off that ledge. And.. you could always resell it. Crap, I'm not helping. Dave.
.
yeah that's the ticket, I can
yeah that's the ticket, I can always sell it,...hmmm
Easy to rationalize
The HD 130 head has a toggle to use it at half power (65w).... So from my POV, it's easy to rationalize a beast like that, even if you live in a broom closet! ( I have 3 of 'em) ...
