Does anyone know of a good MM repair person that is in or near Chattanooga, TN? How about East Tennessee in general? Nashville? Knoxville? Anywhere?! Thanks!
if I may refer you to my good friend Murph at Nashville Pro Hammond. Murph himself may not be the guy to do all repairs to Music Man amps (although I am certain he can do some of them), but he knows just about everybody in the music instrument repair biz in Nashville. Tell him Lars sent you.
Thank you, Lars! I would gladly drive to Nashville if I can't find anyone closer. At least there's someone in TN that can do some, if not all, of the work. It's hard to find people that can/will work on MM. I lucked out where I am but , will be moving within a year and need someone just in case. Happy now! Thanks, again!
Hey, Joel! I finally made it to Chattanooga and was curious if you could/would give me Charlie's contact info? Just a phone number is good if you think he wouldn't mind. Hope all is well and thanks for your help!
Can't find Charlies #, but here is the guys # that recently resurrected my RD 112 for me. He's in Rossville, Ga which is just south of Chattanooga. Steve Day (423) 320-4497 ext. 423
Thanks a million, Joel! I surely appreciate your help in finding a good amp guy in my new location! I'm guessing that you also live around here somewhere. Perhaps we'll meet one day. My wife and I both grew up here and have found our way back after thirty some years. Anyway, thanks again and Peace!
Hey, Joel! Thanks for the welcome! I haven't been here since I graduated high school in 1981 and things have certainly changed! I don't know where Lake Winnie is but, I guess I'll find out as I become familiar with the area once again. Let me know if and when you're playing and maybe I can come see and meet you. I'll be trying to find some jams to go to as soon as I recover from my appendectomy so, hopefully, I can get a gig or two in the area. Maybe you can let me know about any such opportunities... I would surely appreciate any help in that regard! Hoping all is well with you! Thanks!
Hey G Mac, I retired a coupla years ago so the only gigging I'm doing is at church. But the next time my gospel band plays in Chatt, I'll let you know. The best place to see local bands would be Bud's over on Brainerd Rd.
