OK... here's my strategy. It works for any guitar through any amp. First, start with all the tone knobs on the amp at zero. Set your guitar toggle to the bridge pickup. Set the guitars volume to where you use it most; I put my guitar at around 8 in order to leave some headroom to solo. Next, playing only the low E string, raise the bass until it's to your liking. After that, playing the high E string, raise the treble until it's a bit too much then, back it off just a bit ( a sixteenth to an eighth of an inch should do). Lastly, strum the middle two strings (D and G) and add mids until you hear it come into the sound. That's it! This method works very well for me... I always get compliments on my tone. It should be noted that I don't use any effects ( not even reverb) but, it should work all the same. I hope this helps you! Please let me/us know! Peace!
