I have a speaker extension cabinet with serial #S15696.
I think it is a 110X with EV speaker. Does this seem right? Bought in 1983.

EVM Speaker Cabs
The 110X-EVM speaker cab should have the blonde pinwale tolex with black grillcloth if I've got my years straight. Photo?
I recently acquired a blonde '82 110 RD-50 EVM and matching 112X EVM cab, 41lbs each! But boy do they sound good together!

In the '82 catalog it says the EV speaker option came in the blonde pinwale covered amps and cabinets. Don't know if that changed in '83, or perhaps your cabinet predates the use of blonde pinwale. Most importantly, how does it sound? I find I prefer an Eminence Cannabis Rex or WGS Reaper HP in a standalone 110 RD50, but paired with the EVM in a 12" cabinet it works quite well.
