I just installed some fresh 6l6 wgb's and sound is definitely smoother. I want to try a speaker replacement as well. I'm considering a jbl k10 or a celestion gold.
Anyone have experience w either speaker?

Speaker Suggestions
The Celestion Gold is a 40 watt rated speaker, so if you push much volume it may not hold up too well. Tried one in a 110 RD50 and found it somewhat thin sounding.
Not familiar with the JBL K10, but I had a vintage JBL 10" speaker in a 110 RD50. The JBL was supposedly their answer to the EVM10 that was a MM upgrade option. I found it bright and a bit harsh.
The EVM 10 can be bright as well, but comes into its own at louder volumes.
I've settled on an Eminence Cannabis Rex 10" in my 110, really tames the very high trebles and imparts a good fullness to the tone.
That said, I used a 110 with its original EVM paired with a 12" MM cab running its original EVM at an outdoor gig, and the sound was amazing.

Hi pall, Jenson do some neo's that might be a good option. Failing that I've had a pair of Fane axiom tens in my 210 that are rated at 75watts, nice low end out of them.
