Anyone know what the wattage output of the no phase inverter Sixty Five is both Hi and Low power please?
I assume they are 65 at Hi power but not sure. I really need to know in Lo power.
I have a really clean newer Jensen C12Q I want to try in it on Lo Power. Due to the lower SPLs of these speakers I'm thinking it might help from being too loud on Gigs.
My first gig with MM I had to run the Master on 1 to keep from blowing everyone away and that's with a full band with guitar, bass, drums, sax, and vocals.
I currently have a Celestion Redback in it and the SPLs are 100db so not really helping. The Jensen was around 93db I think but it's rated at 35 watts then they list a 70 watt music power whatever that means.
I did a bunch of searching but did not find an answer.
Thank you in advance!
40 Watts
The Lo Pwr setting on the 65 series amps should deliver somewhere between 35 and 45 watts. It should be OK using the 35W Jenson. Just don't put the amp at 11. Also, when a spec refers to Music Power, that's a Peak Power rating and mostly used by marketing folks. Dividing Peak Power numbers in half is closer to the real RMS power. -mgriffin
Thank you MG!
I installed the Jensen and it sounds quite good and drastically pulled the volume down. Cleans still sound really good with master on 5 but not so dang loud.
