Hi Everyone...I'm new to Music Man gear, but have just received an offer for a 410 HD-130 for $695.00 CDN (about $500 USD)...it seems like that may be a good price, depending on the condition...I'll be checking it out on the weekend. Is there anything I should be looking for in particular to see if this is an amp I should/shouldn't buy? Also (I've never played a Music Man amp), what are Music Man amps "supposed" to sound like? Is there anything that compares? Thanks for your help and please excuse my ignorance. Matt | ||

They are a combination of ulta linear fender and black face fender. They do not distort naturally well but handle pedals really well. If you are after the marshal tone, forget it. If you want clean and sturdy and balls, they will be great. I pedal mine with a bunch of crap on the floor like we ALL do and it works every week. Mike. | ||
