Hi All. I have a 112 RD 100 Watt 1x12" combo. After I play it for about 20 minutes or so, there is a tremendous loss in volume and the attack of every note is dulled and there is terrible clipping. I've had the amp for about 3 years, I've never played it above 3, and I've always used it on Low Power. I checked the tubes by tapping on them with a chopstick and heard no noise. They are fairly new anyway. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Thanks, LL

Have the caps ever been replaced? This could be a capacitor, resistor, diode, transistor, opamp, tube or cold solder joint. In other words almost anything (although I think the Tolex and grill cloth are probably not to blame!). There isn't a stock answer. It sounds like it needs to be put through its' paces and checked from power supply to signal path. Se if you can contact a good local amp tech who works on Fender amps. With the right biasing and schematic info he should be able to do the job for you. Steve
