I also own a MM RD112 100....I PURCHASED MINE NEW IN 1980 AND I BELIEVE THIS IS THE FRIST YEAR THEY WERE OFFERED.. YOUR SPEAKER IS A EVL12 ..MINE HAS THE SAME..MM DID NOT PUT A LABLE ON THE EV SPEAKER ON THIS MODEL...THE SPEAKER MAGNET IN THIS AMP IS VERY HEAVY AND THE FRAME IS A ALUMIUM CAST.. I HAVE PLAYED MINE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND SINCE I OWN IT AND HAS NEVER FAILED ME.. HOPES THIS HELPS TERRY

Hi Terry ....Yeah I got this badass about a month ago and can't wait to gig it.Seeing as you've had yours so long maybe you can give me a few pointers as to replacement tubes, that is, if yours runs on 6L6's.Thanks Man!

Hey Spino... I use Groove 6L6's and have had since i replaced the orginals....these babies work great for my kind of playing, which is rock, blues, and country. These tubes will lasted about 2 years and were biased before i played thur them..the tube were also a matched pair... I will say the orginal GE slyvania tubes were great and lasted a long time before i replaced them.. There are sereval differant brands on the market these days, but the groove tube seems to do the trick for me..... I hope i helped you a little.... TERRY |
