Hi all

I recently came across a 2100-65 with a 212rh in excellent condition. It was in a friend's storage. My knowledge of MM amps at the time consisted solely of the fact that they existed. I've played, done tech work on amps of all kinds, and never once saw one in the wild. There was something about its look that told me the 200$ he wanted for both was going to be worth it.

Took it to my shop, plugged it in, and fell in love.

It's time to do some maintenance and I started seeking out more info (as you all know, these aren't run of the mill designs) and found this group and resource. I hope to be of some use and give back to the community once I get my bearings about me but it is exciting to find a pocket of people that understand why I like this amp so much.

Nice amp. Sold them back in the day. Does it have the PI or SS driver? Mike.

It's a ss. Giving me fits,

It's a ss. Giving me fits, right now, because it's doing the going out and back in thing. (Volume and seems to be highs are going low then back up every couple of minutes) tightened up the tube sockets and cleaned all the contracts in everything.

Now, time to search for more involved options because that didn't clear it up.
